Citizens' Advisory Committees

Make a difference in your City ... Volunteer!

The City of SeaTac Citizens' Advisory Committees assist the City Council in decision-making and setting of City policies. Upcoming volunteer opportunities may be available on the following committees, and are open to citizens of SeaTac or persons who own, operate, or are employed at a business in the City of SeaTac:

	Civil Service Commission
	2^nd Monday, 3:30 pm, Conference Room 109 or City Council Chambers Room 105 Membership: 3 / Term: 6 years


	Human Relations Advisory Committee
	This committee currently does not meet. This information will be updated when the committee begins meeting again. Membership: 5 / Term: 3 years


	Human Services Advisory Committee
	3rd Monday, 5:30 pm, City Hall Riverton Training Room 128 Membership: 5 / Term: 3 years


	LEOFF I Disability Board
	meetings as needed Membership: 5 (2 Councilmembers, 2 Firefighters & 1 SeaTac Citizen) / Term: 2 years


	Library Advisory Committee
	meets as needed, 2nd Tuesday, 5:00 pm, Valley View Library Membership: 5 / Term: 3 years


	Planning Commission
	2nd & 4th Monday, 5:30 pm, City Hall Council Chambers Room 105 Membership: 5 / Term: 3 years


	Senior Citizen Advisory Committee
	3^rd Tuesday, 12:30 pm, SeaTac Community Center Membership: 5 / Term: 3 years

Advisory Committee members are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council, unless otherwise noted. If you are interested in participating in one of the Advisory Committees, please contact the City Clerk's Office at 206.973.4660 / (TDD 206.973.4808) for an application. The completed application should be returned to the City Clerk's Office where it will be kept on file. When a position becomes available, your application will be reviewed for consideration of membership.
