Station Area Planning

In 2006, the City adopted the SeaTac/Airport Station Area Action Plan and the S. 154th St. Station Area Action Plan.  These plans envision new commercial and residential districts in the areas adjacent to Sound Transit's SeaTac/Airport and Tukwila International Blvd. (S. 154th St.) Link Light Rail stations.  The station area action plans and information regarding the City's station area planning efforts can be found on the Station Area Planning page.

Past Subarea Planning Projects

Detailed future development scenarios for different areas of the City have been undertaken at the direction of the City Council, such as for the City Center, the Urban Center, West SeaTac, and Riverton Heights.  Community outreach and input are vital components of subarea planning.  Summary of Past Subarea Planning activities.
