About the Park
Through the cooperative efforts of King County, Serve Our Dog Area (SODA) and the cities of SeaTac, Auburn, Burien, Des Moines, Federal Way, Kent, Renton and Tukwila the first regional south King County off leash area was opened for public use in October 2003.

The park offers beautiful views of Mount Rainier and the Green River valley with easy access from I-5, Pacific Highway South and State Route 516.

The park was refurbished for use as an off leash facility through the joint efforts of the south King County cities, SODA members and volunteer groups from Boeing Company, Key Bank, LDS Church Ward #1 and local Boy Scout Troops. The off leash area will be operated and maintained by SODA volunteers. Each partnering city provided development funds as well as labor and equipment.
