Reduce
your waste line
Your solid waste rates are
based on the size of your garbage can. The
smaller the
can, the less you pay. Increase your recycling there is no additional charge
for
unlimited recycling!
And remember, rates will be
reduce d 25% when the principal resident meets the
low income senior citizen (62 years of age or older) or physically challenged
(permanent
disability benefits from Social Security or the Military) requirements.
Customers must
register with the City and Allied Waste to qualify for this 25% discount. The
resident
has to occupy the residence and pay the bills. Mini-can garbage service does not
qualify
for this discount.
If you need any help with your garbage/recycling service, please call Allied
Waste
at 682.9735 or call Desmond with the City of
SeaTac at 973.4724 with any questions/
complaints or to qualify for a low income senior citizen (62 years of age or
older) or
physically challenged permanent disability discount.
Single
Stream - All in One Recycling
Commingled is a recycling program that does not
require sorting by the consumer.
When sorting is not required, recycling levels increase.
Recyclers
want a simple
recycling program,
and a simpler system equals higher participation levels and less
contamination - which results in more of the right type of material being
recycled.
All
residents who subscribe to garbage collection service will also receive
recycling
collection
service for no additional cost.
As
you eliminate more recyclables from your garbage container, you may be
able
to
downsize to a smaller garbage container and a lower rate.
Ask
SeaTac Disposal for more information.
